A non-profit organization created out of love to advocate for mental health intervention and to nurture an inspirational legacy through community involvement and support.

It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to cancel this year’s MEG’s Gift Golf, Dinner and Silent Auction due to the uncertainty and health risk of COVID-19. Rest assured, however, that we are extremely committed to the mission of MEG’s Gift and vow to come back in the summer of 2021 stronger than ever!

While the golf tournament has been a cornerstone of Meg’s Gift, our compassion and focus to help those in the local community is paramount. This year our main beneficiary is

This wonderful organization provides research-based and results-oriented programs that address the social and emotional needs of children.

We so appreciate your past generosity of MEG’s Gift initiatives. You mean so much to our organization and

ask for your continued support of our mission. We invite you to donate online here on our website
or via mail to MEG’s Gift, Inc. P.O. Box 876, Penfield N.Y. 14526.

While our annual golf tournament, dinner, and auction are canceled due to COVID-19, we want to take August 8th to remember and celebrate Megan and make time for our mental health! Please join us from anywhere on 8/8 and share in this Facebook event or on Instagram with #MegsGiftMemories: your memories of Meg, highlights from past golf tournaments, or mental health tips that have been working well for you during quarantine. We so appreciate your ongoing support. Any donations to MEG's Gift can be made.

Meg's Story

Beloved daughter, sister, fiancé, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend, Megan Elizabeth Garbach was a ray of sunshine in every life that she touched.  Selfless, loving, giving, faithful, free-spirited, loyal, creative, silly, witty and "champion of the underdog" – these are some of the words that best describe Meg. She found joy in the simple things life had to offer and cherished her relationship with nature.  Meg had a smile that could light up any room. Truly, her smile mirrors her soul.

The primary 2020 MEG'S Gift Inc. monetary beneficiary will be the Children's Institute.
They are a not-for-profit organization that works to strengthen children's social and emotional health. Through sound research and evaluation Children's Institute develops and promotes effective prevention and early intervention programs, materials, and best practices for children, families, schools, and communities.
We look forward to working with this wonderful organization!
